Wincer Kievenaar are architects based in Hadleigh, Suffolk. Wincer Kievenaar have completed many award winning projects spanning East Anglia including those for commercial, housing, hotels, residential, retail, leisure, industrial and community and education. Amongst their many accolades are: The Suffolk Association of Architects (SAA) Awards, RIBA EAST Awards. Wincer Kievenaar are members of Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), The Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) and specialise and understand innovative design, SAP, CAD and CGI and building regulations.

 

History of Wincer Kievenaar

The practice was formed in 1980 by Paul Kievenaar and Mark Wincer. Throughout its history, the practice has been based in the market town of Hadleigh in Suffolk.

 

The practice has grown in size steadily making Simon King a partner in 1998 and Phil Branton partner in 2006. We currently comprise of five registered Architects and twelve further qualified technical staff with a wealth of experience in all fields of building design. Our staff are our strength and we continue to recruit to complement our team.

 

The majority of the projects the practice undertakes are in East Anglia, we draw on our strong local knowledge and affinity with the unique and understated character of the area. We have over the years undertaken a wide variety of commercial, sporting, community, educational and residential buildings and mostly our clients seek from us one – off designs of a practical nature but with high quality innovative design to achieve their brief and meet their aspirations.

 

The practice has won two RIBA Spirit of Ingenuity Architectural Award, one for the village community hall at Lavenham and one for the new junior school at St Jospeh’s College, Ipswich. The practice has also won three Civic Trust Awards for work at Shotley Marina, Stutton House and Hintlesham Hall Hotel.

 

The office is set up with computer aided design facilities which enables quick transfer of data with other construction consultants. The practice is a Limited Liability Partnership, it has in place relevant procedures for Quality Assurance and can provide CDM services for Health and Safety legislation.
